Story: South to Missouri is named for the southernmost part of the continent that David Thompson mapped. Missouri is known for pears and cranberries which is why they have found their way into this drink.

Story: Koo-Koo-Sint is the name that David Thompson was given by the Aboriginal people. It translates to “Stargazer.”

Story: This Moscow Mule was created in 1941 at the Chatham Hotel in New York. It was designed as a drink to be refreshing with a touch of bite. It is traditionally served in a copper mug.
OLD FASHIONED
Grandad bourbon, simple syrup, angostura bitter, bourbon cherries, fresh orange peel
Story: The Old Fashioned is one of the first classic cocktails to be made.
The first documentation dates back to 1806. By definition an old fashioned is spirit, sugar, bitters, and water. The term “Old Fashioned” was first used in 1881 in Kentucky.
CLASSIC DAIQUIRI
Bacardi Superior White Rum, freshly squeezed lime juice and simple syrup.
Story: The cocktail was supposedly invented by an American mining engineer named Jennings Cox, who was in Cuba at the time of the Spanish-American War.
THE SHOE & CANOE CAESAR
Tito's handmade vodka, tabasco, worcestershire, pickled juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, 1/2 Clamato & 1/2 Walters Caesar mix
Story: The Caesar was invented in 1969 by restaurant manager Walter Chell of the Calgary Inn (today the Westin Hotel) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Chell said his inspiration came from Italy. He recalled that in Venice, they served spaghetti alle vongole, spaghetti with tomato sauce and clams. He reasoned that the mixture of clams and tomato sauce would make a good drink, and mashed clams to form a “nectar” that he mixed with other ingredients.

Beefeater Gin, Campari, Martini Rosso Sweet Vermouth.
Story: The most widely reported version o this drink’s origin was invented at Cafe Casoni in Florence, Italy in1919. Legend says that Count Camillo Negroni asked his friend, bartender Forsco Scarselli, to strengthen his favorite cocktail – the Americano – by replacing the soda with gin.
MANHATTAN
Bulleit Bourbon, Martini Rosso Sweet Vermouth, bitters
Story: Popular history suggests that the drink at the Manhattan Club in New York City in the mid 1870’s, where it was invented by Dr. Ian Marshal for a banquet by Jennie Jerome (Lady Rudolph Churchill, mother of Winston) in honor of presidential candidate Samuel J. Tiden.
ESPRESSO MARTINI
Tito’s handmade vodka, Kahlua, espresso.
Story: Invented by Dick Bradsell back in 1983 during his tenure at the Soho Brasserie, it was originally christened the “Vodka Espresso”. Cocktail legend has it that a young, future supermodel sidled up to the bar and asked Dick to make a cocktail with coffee.
